John (01IS1) Park
(1765, PA – 1843, SC), (Represented) m. Ann Harper (1765, PA – 1834, SC) 1787, Possibly South Carolina or Pennsylvania. Seven children, most places, though submitter also showed three more sons (George, Frank, and Guilford) with no further information. No other researcher has noted these children. It is a distinct possibility that this line may be connected to the Arthur Parke of Pennsylvania line, LK = “A”. Need further evidentiary proof or yDNA evidence.
Children:
Joseph (02IS1) Park, (1789, SC – 1871, ??) m. Rebecca Finley (1789, ?? – ??), no date or location for marriage. Three children.
Andrew Harper (02IS2) Park, (1791, SC – 1871, GA), m. Theney Alethea Barron (1819, ?? – 1873, ??), 1838, Marion Co., GA. Ten children.
Eleanor (02IS3) Park, (1788, SC – 1869, SC) m. Charles Cunningham (1788, SC – 1871, SC) 1820, Union Co., SC. Four children.
William F. (02IS4) Park, (1798, SC – 1878, GA). May have married in 1849, Meriwether County, GA, Amanda M Reeves. Probably no issue in any regard. This marriage record exists, and other information is in somewhat agreement, but nothing is certain that this is the correct William F. Park.
Margaret (02IT5) Parks, (1800, SC – 1870, AL). Nothing further known.
John Job (02IT6) Park, (1804, SC – c1853, AL) m. Sarah Gilder (1808, GA – 1885, MS) 1828, Meriwether Co.,, GA. Ten children.
Samuel A (02IS7) Park, (1806, SC – 1885, GA) m1) Elizabeth “Betsy” Parke (1814, GA – 1853, GA) 1833, Jackson County, GA. Seven children. Elizabeth was the daughter to William & Margaret :Peggy” (Campbell) Parke, a 5th generation descendant of Arthur Parke of Pennsylvania. Hence maybe a distant cousin. m2) Cynthia Ann Reeves (1834, GA – ??) 1869, probably in Georgia. No issue.
Other children that some researchers have claimed to be of John & Mary Harper, nothing further known.
George (02IS8) Park,
Frank (02IS9) Park
