(1806, NC – 1888, TN), (Represented)  m. Mary May Long, (1814, NC – 1880, TN), 29 January 1834, Hardeman County, TN.   Eight children.  There is a possible connection to the Lineage Key “IW” but there is also some confusion about the identification of the two individuals in question.  For the time being, that is still being considered a possibility needing further review.

• Eliza Jane (02ZR1) Parks, (1835TN – 1911, KY).  m1) John W. Casteel (1833, TN – 1912, KY) 1856 in Tennessee. Four children.  m2)  John C Reynolds (1827, NC – 1904, TN) 1881, Probably Tennessee.  Two children.

• Ephraim (02ZR2) Parks, (1839, TN – 1914, TN).  m1) Amanda A Lemmons (1847, TN – 1899, TN) 15 May 1861, Hardiman County, TN, Nine children.  m2) Susan C. James (1838, TN – 1910, TN) 24 May 1910, Gibson, Gibson County, TN.  No issue.

• William H (02ZR3) Parks, (1845, TN – 1898, MO)  m. Mary Laura Wright (1851, MO – 1928, MO) ca 1869, probably Missouri. Nine children.

• Martha (02ZR4) Parks, (1846, TN – 1860, TN). Nothing further known.

• David Sample  (02ZR5) Parks, (1850, TN – 1934, TN), m. Martha E Walker (1855, TN – 1926, TN) 8 November 1877, Gibson County, TN. Six children.

• Samuel D (02ZR6) Parks, (1852, TN – 1952, AR),  m. Katherene (Tula) Lemmons, (also known as Julia Catherine Lemming) , (1855, MS – 1934, MO)  25 December  1872, Jackson County, IL.  Six children.

• Benjamin Franklin (02ZR7) Parks, (1854, TN– 1888, TN),  m.  Mary Ella Jackson (1862, TN – 1913, TN) 1 April 1877, Gibson County, TN. Three children.

• Sally (Sarah)  (02ZR8) Parks, (1854, TN – 1860, TN).  Died young, no issue.
