Recent new information has perhaps led to a break-through. One researcher named the parents of Samuel Park to be a Milo Park & Henrietta Myers of Auburn, Cayuga County, New York.  Milo is not a terribly common given name, and reviewing the GIVENAME Index we found  Milo (07R1124) Parks who married Henrietta Myers by 1830.  If confirmed, it looks pretty good, this gives the correspondent member a line back to Richard (01R1) Park, who came to the colonies in 1635 aboard the vessel Defense.  That line would be Richard-Thomas-John-Solomon-Samuel-Samuel- Milo Parks to Samuel Park & Elizabeth Marie Myers.

• Milo Harrison (02PR1) Park, (1858, PA – 1913, IL),  m. Ruth Mary Stough (1863, Canada – 1933, PA)  24 February 1890, Warren, Warren County, Pennsylvania. Seven children.  There is some conflicting information about this family unit that needs further research. Was there a wife Luce M (unknown) and other children.

• Henrietta “Nettie” (02PR2) Park, (1873, PA – 1861, NY). m. Merritt George Bauer (1878, PA – 1919, PA) 4 July 1902, Frewsburg, Chautauqua County, New York. Three children surnamed Bauer.

• Willard Henry (02PR3) Park, (1860,  PA – 1936, PA). m. Bessie Glendora Owen (1870, OH – 1936, PA) 1895, location unknown. One child known.

• Marietta  (02PR4) Park, (1865,  PA – 1913, PA).  Ehrhardt  [per gravestone] John Bauer, 1862, PA – 1938, PA), 1895,  location unknown.  Ten children surnamed Bauer.

• Charles Augustus  (02PR5) Park, (1868,  PA – 1925, PA).  Apparently never married.  

• Ester Jane “Jennie” (02PR6) Park, (1871,  PA – 1949, PA),  m. Michael R Zobrest (1868, PA – 1944, PA), as his second marriage, 12 June 1918, Chautauqua, Chautauqua County, New York. No issue known.  

• Jessie Louise  (02PR7) Park, (1876,  PA – 1959, PA).  m1) William Joseph Hesch (1875, ONT – bef. 1930, PA) 1895, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Four Children. m2) Levi Otto Learn (1874, PA – 1966, NY) circa 1909, Warren County, Pennsylvania. One child surnamed Hesch.  

• Jerome Garfield (02PR8) Park, (1882, PA – 1947, PA)  m. Stella Salisbury, (1891, WV – 1977, PA) 6 August 1910, Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania. Four children.
