David G (01LR1) Parks

(1793, VA– 1850, OH) (Represented) m. Martha Work Hervey, (1800, VA – 1869, IL), 20 March 1817, Wayne Co., Ohio. Nine  children.    Some researchers believe David is the son of a John A. Parks (c1775, PA – c1855, OH) who married an Ann (Unknown). Nothing further is known about this connection.

  • William Hervey (02LR1) Parks, (1818, OH – 1899, KS), m. Hannah Dillon (1815, PA – 1891, ??),  7 September 1843, Knox County, OH. No children listed.

  • Catherine Brown/Brainerd (02LR2) Parks, (1819, OH – 1887, IL), m. The Rev’d. James Fleming, (1806, PA – 1886, IL), 31 October 1829,  Knox, Columbiana County, Ohio. Ten children surnamed Fleming. 

  • Margaret Jane (02LR3) Parks, (1821, OH – 1826, OH).  Died young.

  • John (02LR4) Parks, (1823, OH– 1825, OH). Died Young.

  • Isabel Bonar (02LR5) Parks (1825, OH – 1894, KS),  m. Robert Hamilton Gaston,   (1820, OH – 1887, KS), 10 February 1848, Martinsburg, Knox County, OH.  Four children surnamed Gaston.

  • Finley (02LR6) Parks, (1830, OH – 1830, OH).  Died young.

  • John Howard (02LR7) Parks, (1835, OH – 1925, IL), m. Dorothy Glenn Hervey, (1842, VA – 1919, IL), 22 December 1857, Dunlap, Peoria County, IL.  Eleven children.

  • Steen Black  (02LR8) Parks, (1836, OH – 1915, WA),  m. Amada Yates (1842, VA – 1929, WA) 25 September 1869, Peoria, Peoria County, IL. Five children.

  • Harriet Newell(02LR9) Parks, (1839, OH – 1911, CO), m. John Sims, (c1833, OH – 1890, OH) 6 Ma6 1858, Knox County, OH. Four children surnamed Sims.
