Parke Society 2008 Convocation

Please join us on September 25 - 28, 2008 when we will be holding our Convocation in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our announcement sheet has the information on lodging, our agenda, and a mail-in reservation form for the Society's annual get-together. Enjoy meeting other folks who also searching your lineage in our own Research Room at our hotel. You can also round out your research at the extensive holdings of the Genealogy Department in the Allen County Library; it's close to our hotel.

Parke Society 2007 Convocations

The Parke Society Annual Convocation was held in Chatanooga, TN September 27-30. We've enjoyed researching our in-depth lineage data, remarkable scenery, great weather, and a tour of the Civil War Battlefield, Chickamauga. That tour was described as very well done, highly informative, and definitely a highlight of our visit to Chattanooga by Keith Harrison (who has participated in Civil War reenactments).
An excellent symposium on "Park/e/s in the South - Where They Came From, Where They Went" was given by Ken Parks, our DNA Adminisrator
